Can I use a naked domain?
One of the drawbacks of using CNAMEs in DNS, is that it is invalid to specify a naked domain as a CNAME. Therefore, given that you are configuring the domain
example.com, you may use a CNAME for
subdomain.example.com, etc. but not for
example.com itself. Often, Landed sites will use the subdomain
www, however it is generally preferable to have the naked domain also point to the same site.
This is an issue many services share with Landed, and thankfully there is a way around it. If you do use a
